This Team takes part in touching grief-stricken members of the parish by our presence with them and by helping them to plan the final farewell of the Funeral Mass. This support group consists of funeral directors, rectory staff, clergy, lay ministers (of which there is a great need), cantors, organists, and memorial booklet compilation volunteers.

Oversee sports programs at elementary school level and limited parish high school programs such as basketball and volleyball. The main events coordinated by the CYO are the annual Sports Banquet and Golf Outing.

The spiritual, social, and Fund Raising organization for ALL women of the Parish. We hold yearly events such as the Fashion Show, Thanksgiving coffee/donuts, Communion Breakfast and a Spring Dinner. We decorate a Remembrance Tree for Mother's and Father's Day with ribbons etc.

Eucharistic ministers are needed in various capacities throughout the parish. They are needed at all the masses and various services both in the church and within the community.

Duties include ordering certificates, preparing deposits, keeping records, paying out rebates, picking up and sorting certificates, as well as copying and preparing advertisement information.

Every 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, and 5^th Tuesday of every month, two Eucharistic Ministers distribute communion to Catholic patients. Every 4^th Tuesday, communion is given at a mass and the Eucharistic Ministers give communion to those who are unable to attend as well.

Weekly meetings are held in the convent to coordinate visitations to the homebound and sick, Harlee Manor, and Fair Acres. Other duties include making consolation calls, welcoming of new parishioners in the church.

Service to the homebound sick, Springfield Hospital, and Harlee Manor residents and patients. Two Eucharistic Ministers attend mass at Harlee Manor to distribute communion and assist with the anointing of the sick. Anyone with special needs can contact the rectory office for this ministry.

Provides monthly health reminders such as blood pressure screening, assisting parish members with health problems, and visiting the sick. Committee also serves as a resource to families in crisis and a liaison between the parish and community resources.

Foster full participation of the entire parish in the pastoral life and mission of the parish and universal church. This consultative body assists the pastor in parish pastoral plans and directions through a consensus process and prayerful reflection.

Committee prepares parents for their child’s christening. Members are couples in the parish and are responsible for 4 christenings per year on a rotating schedule.

Members maintain the parish religious education program and Catholic education for children who do not attend Catholic school.

Preparing men and women for Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. Sponsors are needed to guide candidates through the process. Sessions are held on Monday evenings and proceed for several months, culminating in the candidates’ reception of the sacraments of initiation and full participation in the mass of the Easter Vigil.

Involves the transportation of parishioners in need of rides to and from doctors’ appointments, therapy, and rehab. Members also schedule St. Vincent De Paul pick-ups at St. Kevin. Coordinate the Healing Mass, Memorial Mass, Thanksgiving Food Drive, and Christmas Giving Tree. Collect baby items for the Mother’s Home in Darby.
